    Giving the aging of the population, I would suspect Pharmacy. Older folks take more pills and drug companies are constantly pushing more new drugs on the population. All-in-all, it will be a great place to be for the next 30 or so years.

    Anesthesiology, hands down the best choice.

    I’d have to go with Anesthesiology, but then, I’m biased.

    If you have what it takes to be a doctor, you won’t be happy with anything else. Anesthesiology is a challenging profession, but I find it enjoyable and rewarding.

    It all depends on what you are willing to invest in terms of time, training and tuition. You’ll spend 2-3 times as long in training, but you’ll earn 2-3 times as much money when you’re done.

    Anesthesiology is also the only one out of those you mentioned that will afford you the opportunity to stick needles in people. You just can’t beat the thrill of a good spinal anesthetic! (Sorry, I am SUCH an anesthesia geek!)

    Good luck with whatever you choose. They are all valuable professions.
