Is there any chances that your AIT training for the army will be your duty station?

My fiance (SOON to be HUSBAND) is in the army doing his basic training and Im going to join after he comes home….Im looking forward to become a 68Q (pharmacy specialist)….what is AIT like and will me AIT station be my duty station….i was looking forward to be up where he will be at for his duty station which is FT. Riley so can I be stationed with or near him….

    i was in the military. and so was my husband. it’s a real BITCH to try and get stationed together. especially if you don’t have corresponding jobs.

    Submit your paperwork for joint domicle as soon as you get married, that way the ARMY can try and get you assigned at the same Post or close to each other.

    no one can guarantee that you will be PDS at your training school location. nor is spousal co location ever guaranteed, and in fact is not an option for first termers.

    Well if you get sent to your duty station where ever and your not married he or you can do a tranfers request,If someone from either duty station leaves or transfers maybe one of you can take they place.
