Pharmacy Laws And Restrictions?

I’m currently working at CVS/Pharmacy in Indiana, I Work in the front just working register and stocking product for the CVS Part (Not The Pharmacy) I was wondering what are the laws and regulations for me to work in the back (Pharmacy). I’m Currently still enrolled in High School 12th Grade And Attending Vocational.. I’m 18 right now.. and i was wondering if i can work back there.. and train to be a tech at the same time.. If you can provide a website with proof as well as chapter/artical/section for proof to show the pharmacy.. Thanks.

**Does this mean I need to get my actuall HighSchool Diploma?

I don’t know the Indiana laws, but in Illinois, if you are a current high school student, you can become licensed. You don’t need any other education.
However, most pharmacies do not like to hire non high school graduates.
I live in Utah and can tell you what the rules are here. You are in another state, and any other answer you get here is somebody’s guess.
Contact the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy and they can give you the rules and requirements.
I would bet the guys in the Pharmacy know the rules already. If they are ‘acting stupid’ or otherwise discouraging you, then I would suspect they are not so keen on having a student. I can’t blame them really. Students are more trouble than they are worth, UNLESS they are going to stay with the company.
