    In Texas they are about 6 months at a trade school and about 12,000 dollars which is a rip-off. I had previous medical background/knowledge and was able to pass the test without any classes. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE A CLASS. Look on the PTCB.org website, give you all the details.

    I would say as short as 3 months and as long as 10-12 months.
