pharmacy tech positions?
upyr1 asked the question:
I’m looking at the pharmacy tech courses at the local community college
I’ve heard some one say pharmacies want to train you or hire some one with two years experience. As I have taken a lot of IT courses and have not found employment the last thing I want is to take a bunch of classes and still not find employment.
don’t give me the link for IT jobs
Thanks,

Hello I’ve been a Tech for almost 20yrs now. It’s not bad work the pay is good if you can get into a good line of work. I would take the courses and become certified. Being certified makes it easier to get a job with no experience and some places will pay a little more if you have that. I’ll put a link at the bottom for the certification web site. There is a lots of info there and courses and the costs of everything.
If you have any questions feel free to email.
Call your local chain pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens and ask to talk to the pharmacist and ASK him/her what the company prefers.
